Grace Fellowship was begun in the Fall of 1999 with the conviction that "The Holy Scripture is the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith and obedience."  After several years of preaching and teaching from the Scriptures in a rural Pennsylvania church under the supervision of Village Missions, Pastor Keith Doster was invited to the Banner of Truth Grantham Ministers' Conference at Messiah College in Grantham, PA.  It was there that he was introduced to men with similar biblical and reformed convictions as his own.  Pastor Steve Ege introduced Pastor Doster to The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689.  This eventually led to an opportunity to begin Grace Fellowship with several families that gladly embraced the sovereignty of God, even in the matter of salvation.

Since that time, we have ministered in various ways to the Pine Grove Mills community and the surrounding area.  It is our hope and prayer that God will continue to establish and grow our church to become a place where the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ might be taught, heard, and loved for generations to come.  Pastor Doster's favorite text is:

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.  Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.  (Romans 8:28-30, NKJV)

In 2004, Grace Fellowship became affiliated with the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals (FIRE).  FIRE currently consists of over 74 churches worldwide and more than 118 individual members.

In 2006, Grace Fellowship voted to join the Southern Baptist Convention and the Keystone Baptist Association.  On October 20th, 2007, after a year of being under watchcare, the association voted to accept Grace Fellowship into the association.  As a relatively new church in the SBC, we look forward to working and fellowshipping with other Southern Baptist churches in central Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
